The night was dark and eerie,
The winds blew cold,
My stomach growled with hunger,
No one was home I was told.
I rushed to the kitchen,
Looking for food,
The fridge was in sight,
Thinking of food I drooled.
I cried tears of fear,
As I saw what was inside
They were cut fingers of a witch,
My fear I could not hide.
As I stepped towards the kitchen door,
It was like a dream,
But as I opened the fridge door,
I realized it was Halloween..
