<![CDATA[Pokemon X & Y gets Mega Evolutions, New Pokemon and more]]>If you are a Pokemon fan, Then today is a great day for you. Nintendo today revealed a shed load of new information for its upcoming titles Pokemon X & Pokemon Y. The first thing that was definitely the most important part of the reveal is the addition of Mega Evolutions. Mega Evolutions are a brand new feature which allows certain Pokemon to temporarily evolve during battle. These Pokemon are Blaziken, Lucario, Ampharos, Absol, Mawile, Kangaskhan & Mewtwo. The only way to evolve these Pokemon is if you are in possession of a Mega Stone which will be hidden very well throughout the new region. It has been said that these Pokemon will change form and abilities with such noticeable features like Ampharos getting wings & Kangaskhan’s Baby fighting alongside its mother. Its been officially revealed by Nintendo that Torchic will be available on launch day via Nintendo Wi-Fi.

The next bit of news that was revealed came in the form of three new Pokemon. The first one is called Dedenne which is an Electric and Fairy type Pokemon and bares a very similar resemblance to Pikachu. The next Pokemon is called Bunnelby which is a normal type Pokemon that is based on a bunny rabbit. The final Pokemon is called Skiddo which has been described as one of the first Pokemon types to interact with Humans.

The next thing Nintendo revealed was training methods in which they revealed 2. The first method they announced was Super Training which allows you to train your Pokemon and let them gain experience outside of Battle by taking part in numerous mini games. One of these mini games reportedly has your Pokemon facing off against giant Pokemon Balloons. The other training technique revealed was Core Training which is essentially the training method to use if you’d like to live life like a Sloth. It basically allows your Pokemon to train themselves with or without any player interaction however the people who buy this game might only use this if they need to go to sleep.

The final bit of info revealed was the announcement of a new gym leader called Korinna who will be the gym leader of Shalour City with the only information about her at the moment is that she has an understanding of Mega Evolutions.
