<![CDATA[Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Could Come To PS4 & Xbox One If The Fans Want It]]> Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, the upcoming game from Gearbox Software and 2K Australia, might appear on the PS4 and Xbox One if fans want it, but right now it’s only scheduled to launch on PC, PS3, and Xbox One.

Borderlands 1 and 2 delivered some really impressive first-person shooter experiences that not only brought fun gameplay but also in-depth RPG mechanics and a loot system that puts some games to shame.

2K Australia is currently working on Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel alongside franchise founder Gearbox Software, and the title is scheduledto debut this fall for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.

Despite denying that PS4 and Xbox One versions are in development, Borderlands franchise Director Matt Armstrong has revealed to GameReactorTV that they could happen provided that there is demand from fans.

“I guess we’re full on developing that PS3, 360, and PC kind of game,” said Lawrence. “And we really believe in that too, I mean all the players of Borderlands 2 are all playing on those consoles. That’s the choice they’ve got.”

“So we want to reward those guys and give them the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel experience on that console. I mean if fans say we’d really want this on a next-gen console, well, we’ll think about that. But right now we’re concentrating on the consoles we have.”

As such, if you really want The Pre-Sequel to appear on PS4 or Xbox One, make your voice heard and hope that Gearbox is listening.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! is expected to be out October 2014 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
