Q: Was anyone on the team your confidant?

A: I got along well with everyone, but I have to say that Lass was the person I was closest to. He helped me a lot in the worst moments. I knew him from England and from the national team. But I have to say all of the guys were great: Marcelo, Drenthe, Diarrá… and also Míchel Salgado… what a phenomenon! We talked when he signed with Blackburn and we’re still in contact.
