Iker spoke with Marca yesterday about his 10 years at Madrid (can you believe it has been that long?  It seems like just yesterday that I noticed the new goalkeeper of Madrid with his babyface, poufy hair and lime and navy blue jersey, and said to my friends, es muy guapo el portero del Madrid, ¿no?).

Anyway, I digress… so Iker is on the cover of Marca today and inside is an interview where he talks about football, so it’s not worth mentioning here.  But they did ask him 10 fun questions, so here they are:

1.  Last movie you saw in the theater: Avatar

2.  Last book you read: The Girl Who Played With Fire (his answer was in Spanish – La chica que soñaba con una cerilla y un bidón de gasolina)

3.  Favorite TV series: Lost

4.  Favorite female TV presenter: Anne Igartiburu

5.  Favorite food that your mother makes: french fries with eggs

6.  Favorite food that you make: (laughs) ham and cheese sandwich, I eat that a lot!

7.  Do you like videogames? Now I almost never play, I played when I was younger…

8.  Is the crisis affecting you? Of course, since I have a family and friends.  The crisis is affecting everyone, although not us directly because we are privileged.

9.  What’s with the beard? you see… I let it grow, I let it grow… even the prince [of Spain] has grown one!  [He just shaved it off Iker, so maybe it’s time you do too!!!]

10.  Will Spain win the World Cup if you shave? Man… that, and whatever you all want (laughs).
