According to the press, which has already photoshopped his head onto a Madrid jersey, he will come over in exchange for €6 million, and sign a five-year contract. However, he may remain at Racing for the time being, to give him more time to mature as a player.
The press is also reporting that Ruud van Nistelrooy has passed a medical ordered by Hamburg and could be on his way to his new team in the next couple of days. If that is true, then I just want to say thank you Ruud, for all that you’ve done wearing the Madrid white, and for your professionalism. We’ll miss you!
