And if we have Cristiano’s workout routine, then we must have Pepe’s as well, which appeared in both AS and Marca today (picture is from AS). Real Madrid’s site also published a special.

I like the hair, by the way. And it’s nice to see that Pepe has not lost his smile!

They also give us a run-down on how a typical day goes in Pepe’s road to recovery (he’s in therapy 42 hours a week):

10:30 am: arrives at Valdebebas to begin the second phase of his recuperation, which started when he no longer had to rely on crutches.

10:40 am: in the locker room, doctors and physical therapists check out his knee and map out what work needs to be done.

11:00 am: Pepe receives electric therapy, to treat the pain and stimulate the muscle.

11:30 am: the physical therapists massage the injured area, to avoid it becoming stiff.

12:00 pm: Pepe does isometric and isotonic exercises.

12:30 pm: the knee is treated with ice to avoid inflammation.

1:00 pm: Pepe goes to the swimming pool for mobility and strength exercises.

2:00 pm: Pepe works out in the gym.

2:30 pm: Pepe goes home, where he will work for three more hours.
