According to ¡Qué Me Dices! (again), Iker had this to say after Madrid was eliminated from the Champions League:

La Liga de Campeones es como una novia. Cuando la tienes, no la echas de menos, cuando no, la quieres.

Translation:

The Champions League is like a girlfriend.  When you have it, you don’t miss it, but when you don’t, you want it.

So has our Iker been wanting a girlfriend for all this time?
