Who do you think is in second place? It’s Marcelo, with 2,314. Third, fourth and fifth places go to Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos and Raúl Albiol, respectively.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the ranking is Pedro Mosquera, with a grand total of 1 minute played.

Manuel Pellegrini has used 22 players so far this season, which means everyone on the first team, plus Mosquera, except the back-up goalkeepers, namely Dudek and Adán. Also, Van Nistelrooy is not counted, even though he played one game in the Liga this season (against Xerez).
