One. Marcelo’s grandfather was also a football player.  He played as a left winger for Vasco de Gama and Ponte Preto.

Two. Fluminense signed him as a nine-year-old futsal player.  Marcelo didn’t want to join, but his grandfather convinced him, saying the installations were close to his house.  He used to go to training sessions on his bike.

Three. Marcelo likes the theater, because his wife used to be an actress.  She gave that profession up, but now would like to go back to it.
