Well, that was a risk, sending out Iker in the orange jersey.

But at least it wasn’t matched with the orange shorts.  Instead, we got yellow socks.

Why does Madrid even have yellow socks in their equipment closet?  Are they left over from last year?  A preview of next year?  (Probably not, since we know that Iker will be wearing dark green and blue next year).  Were the orange or black ones dirty?  Stolen?  Lost along the way to Palma de Mallorca?  Left at the beach?  Traded for an ensaïmada?

I need answers!!!

Now excuse me while I go get a drink… I have a sudden craving from something citrusy.
