<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?><oembed><version><![CDATA[1.0]]></version><provider_name><![CDATA[following Real Madrid...]]></provider_name><provider_url><![CDATA[https://unamadridista.wordpress.com]]></provider_url><author_name><![CDATA[unamadridista]]></author_name><author_url><![CDATA[https://unamadridista.wordpress.com/author/unamadridista/]]></author_url><title><![CDATA[Vanity Fair FAIL]]></title><type><![CDATA[link]]></type><html><![CDATA[<p>I got my hands on a copy of June&#8217;s issue of Vanity Fair magazine &#8211; you know, <a href="https://unamadridista.wordpress.com/2010/05/04/yesterdays-odds-and-ends/">the one</a> with a shirtless Cristiano on the cover.  I had already seen the pictures, but once again I have to say how disappointed I am with the issue, for the following reasons:</p>
<p>1.  no Spaniards.</p>
<p>2.  only two shirtless pictures of Cristiano.</p>
<p>3.  placing Kaká in the seam in the group photo &#8211; we want to see all of him!  And for not convincing him to remove his jeans.</p>
<p>4.  a weird range of players &#8211; some of whom are not even going to the World Cup &#8211; obviously not a lot of research was done.</p>
<p>5.  the portfolio was way too short &#8211; in past issues, such as their young Hollywood one, or my favorite one, featuring European royalty, they dedicated upwards of 30 pages.  For this one, we got a paltry 10 or so, way too little considering how many hot footballers there are (Real Madrid itself could supply an entire portfolio).</p>
<p>6.  the article was about football, so was it really necessary to talk about who Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly hooked up with?  Anyone who follows football knows that he&#8217;s famous for more than that.</p>
