<p>In the past few days, Real Madrid&#8217;s players have given us multiple things to talk about, in terms of their fashion choices.</p>
<p>Yesterday, for example, for one lunch and one afternoon of tennis, we had some seriously questionable outfits.  But then, they really wouldn&#8217;t be footballers if they dressed well all the time, would they?</p>
<p>During a lunch honoring Cristoph Metzelder at &#8211; where else &#8211; Asador Donostiarra, we had the following:</p>
<p>&#8211; Cristiano Ronaldo: floral patterned shirt + tight, shiny pants + big designer logo belt = a new rumor that you&#8217;re gay.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" title="cristiano" src="https://i2.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/2010-05-1228.jpg" alt="" width="560" height="359" /></p>
<p>If that picture doesn&#8217;t convince you, here are some up-close shots of the outfit, which Cristiano also wore to watch tennis later on:</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" title="cris's shirt" src="https://i2.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/2010-05-1298.jpg" alt="" width="284" height="281" /><img class="alignnone" title="cris's pants" src="https://i1.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/2010-05-1294.jpg" alt="" width="284" height="284" /></p>
<p><!--more--></p>
<p>&#8211; Sergio Ramos, in his favorite red leather jacket, matched with red shoes and jeans with patches on them?  I&#8217;m not liking the fit of his outfit at all, the jacket makes him look wide and the tapered jeans aren&#8217;t doing him any favors either.  But still, it&#8217;s a very Sergio-like outfit.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" title="who else but sergio" src="https://i1.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/2010-05-1210.jpg" alt="" width="560" height="359" /></p>
<p>&#8211; meanwhile, Iker showed up in a blazer with brown piping (which we later find out matched the piping on his <a href="http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/2010-05-1275.jpg">shirt</a>) and what looks to be a combination of a garbage bag/umbrella/folded up poncho in his hand, but what is more likely to be his (sniff) murse.  Oh Iker, why do you do this to yourself?</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not the first blazer of this type in his wardrobe, <a href="http://www.kickette.com/images/uploads/feb10iker.jpg">this</a> is.  Can you imagine if Iker decided to pair this with that <a href="https://unamadridista.wordpress.com/2010/05/02/the-terrible-shoe-twosome-strikes-again/">blue shirt and those blue sneakers</a>?  I think it&#8217;s just a matter of time because it&#8217;s totally something he would think of.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" title="iker" src="https://i0.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/2010-05-1229.jpg" alt="" width="560" height="359" /></p>
<p>&#8211; and the combo of Pepe and Albiol also leave a lot to be desired.  Unfortunately, Pepe wore a jacket, but I think we can be 90% sure there was a questionable graphic-t under there.  And Albiol needs to start dressing up just a bit more?  The jeans with the strip on the side remind me too much of a certain <a href="https://unamadridista.wordpress.com/2009/12/29/iker-loves-these-jeans/">pair</a> favored by Iker, so it also gets negative points.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" title="pepe &amp; raúl" src="https://i1.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/2010-05-1230.jpg" alt="" width="560" height="359" /></p>
<p>&#8211; And Míchel&#8217;s belt buckle.  I can&#8217;t see anything else in the picture, that image has been seared into my memory.  It&#8217;s great to see him back though.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" title="salgado &amp; raúl" src="https://i2.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/2010-05-1219.jpg" alt="" width="560" height="359" /></p>
<p>Then later on, at the Mutua Madrileña Madrid Open, Zidane decided that he was even younger than Raúl Albiol and appeared like this, complete with faux-harem pants, courtesy of <a href="http://donadabola.wordpress.com/2010/05/12/raul-c-ron-e-zizou-dando-uma-forcinha-pro-nadal/">Dona da Bola</a>.  I&#8217;m sure his two sons, who watched the game with him, looked older, outfit-wise.</p>
