At the beginning of the session, everyone congratulated Mesut Özil on his 22nd birthday, like Marcelo is doing above, although later on, he also gave Pepe a big hug too, even though it wasn’t his birthday!  It looks like the Germans are integrating just fine, that Pipita is hatching some evil plan, and that Pedro León is very happy!

It might be because he made it into the Málaga convocatoria, along with 19 other players.  Raúl Albiol and Sergio Canales, who have recovered from their injuries, also made it.  Sergio Ramos didn’t, and so we’ll see Álvaro Arbeloa in his place.  The one player left out due to the coach’s decision was David Mateos.
