His full name is Francisco Javier Hernández González (quite a mouthful) but the football world knows him as Javi H. Or, as Guti’s cousin – Javi’s father is the brother of Guti’s mother. Like Guti, Javi H. is a midfielder, wears the number 14, a canterano and left-footed. He says he doesn’t mind that people know who his famous cousin is, but he prefers that people know him for how he is as a player.

Other facts about Javi H.: he’s 21 years old, was born in Salamanca and has played for the U-19 team. He’s scored one goal in three games this season. In September 2009, he tore his right ACL in a game against Cacereño, and didn’t reappear until the end of July of this year.

His dream is unsurprisingly to play with the first team. He likes all types of music, his favorite movie is I Am Legend and he doesn’t like watching TV series. The last book Javi H. read is The Pillars of the Earth, he prefers Tuenti to Facebook and loves padel. He has an A3, and his preferred vacation spots are Almería, Mojácar and Cádiz.
