<p><a href="http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/2010-10-28cris04.jpg"><img class="alignleft" src="https://i0.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/2010-10-28cris04.jpg" alt="" width="263" height="346" /></a><span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong>One. </strong></span>Cristiano presented his new boots, the spotted CR7 Safari ones.</p>
<p>It was once again emphasized that they were made to his exact specifications, and Cris also said he chose the design himself: &#8220;Safari expresses my style.  It gives me everything I need to elevate my game.&#8221;  So, I think we can assume that he asked Nike to incorporate the leopard spot design, which most of you don&#8217;t seem to like.  I&#8217;m still waiting to see how it&#8217;ll look with his Madrid kit before giving an opinion, but apparently we won&#8217;t get to see that until next weekend, during the <em>derbi madrileño</em>.</p>
<p>But I do love animal prints, and going on a safari was one of those most amazing experiences I&#8217;ve had, so I might end up liking these after all!</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" src="https://i2.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/2010-10-28cris01.jpg" alt="" width="518" height="389" /></p>
<p>Anyway, at least Cris toned down his own outfit for the launch yesterday, since I guess he figured all focus should be on his flamboyant new boots and not on a flamboyant outfit (that belt buckle, had it not been half-covered by Cris&#8217; shirt, would have stolen the show).</p>
<p>See a video of Cris thanking his fans (and winking of course) <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezB0S-wBRsE">here</a>, get an up close look at the shoes <a href="http://www.marca.com/2010/10/28/futbol/equipos/real_madrid/1288288663.html">here</a>, and hear Cris talk about the current state of things at Madrid <a href="http://www.marca.com/2010/10/29/futbol/equipos/real_madrid/1288331263.html">here</a>.</p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong>Two. </strong></span>Sergio Ramos was seen filming a spot for TVE for the &#8220;un juguete, una ilusión&#8221; (a toy, a hope) <a href="http://www.unjugueteunailusion.com/">campaign</a> yesterday.  Watch the behind the scenes <a href="http://www.rtve.es/mediateca/videos/20101028/ramos-se-une-a-campana-juguete-ilusion/914424.shtml?s1=deportes&amp;s2=&amp;s3=&amp;s4=">here</a>.  The campaign sells pens, with all funds going to make and send toys to developing countries, since the UN has recognized that all children have the right to play.</p>
<p>What a great gesture from Sergio, but what a horrible outfit!  I&#8217;m not into that denim-on-denim look at all!</p>
<p><!--more--></p>
<p><img class="alignnone" src="https://i2.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/2010-10-28sergiojuguete03.jpg" alt="" width="550" height="412" /></p>
<p>Sergio also tweeted about this:  &#8220;Hi friends, today I filmed a spot for RTVE&#8217;s &#8220;un juguete, una ilusión&#8221; campaign.  I invite you all to purchase the pen to help children that don&#8217;t have toys.  With regards to my injury, I&#8217;m good and ready to incorporate myself into the dynamic of the team.  A big hug.&#8221;</p>
<p>And &#8220;[the pen] only costs five euros and we will help thousands of children to get toys.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="http://twitter.com/SergioRamos/status/29011065362"><img class="alignnone" src="https://i2.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/2010-10-28twittersergio01.jpg" alt="" width="183" height="94" /></a><a href="http://twitter.com/SergioRamos/status/29011203829"><img class="alignnone" src="https://i0.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/2010-10-28twittersergio02.jpg" alt="" width="187" height="92" /></a><a href="http://twitter.com/SergioRamos/status/29011383591"><img class="alignnone" src="https://i1.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/2010-10-28twittersergio03.jpg" alt="" width="186" height="84" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong>Three.</strong></span> <span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong> </strong></span>Meanwhile, Royston Drenthe is still hoping that Madrid will let him play in the game this weekend, saying that FP still has time to remove the penalty.  He also <a href="http://www.marca.com/2010/10/28/futbol/equipos/hercules/1288249398.html">hinted</a> that he may end up paying the penalty of €2 million himself.  In the video, you can see just the top of what I&#8217;m sure is a questionable outfit.</p>
<p>By the way, Madrid has never lost in the Rico Pérez (where Hércules plays).  They&#8217;ve come away with 15 wins and four ties in their 19 visits.</p>
<p>______________________________________________________________</p>
<p><em>(The badly dressed section ends here).</em></p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong>Four. </strong></span>And Arbeloa was spotted on twitter, like always.</p>
<p>¡¡¡I LOVE, LOVE THIS!!!</p>
<p>User &#8220;Angel_DM22&#8221; (whose account no longer exists) wrote to Álvaro, asking &#8220;please confirm to everyone that I&#8217;m the real [Ángel di María].   Álvaro&#8217;s response?  &#8220;No, you aren&#8217;t.&#8221;  ¡JAJAJA!<strong><br />
</strong><a href="http://twitter.com/aarbeloa17/status/28992157432"><img src="https://i0.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/2010-10-28twitterarbeloa03.jpg" alt="" width="460" height="208" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong>Five. </strong></span>And the Real Madrid Foundation announced that one of our favorite madridistas Rafa Nadal will receive an extraordinary award at their annual gala next Thursday, where they&#8217;ll hand out their Premios Alma.  Alfredo di Stéfano will also receive an award.  José Mourinho and the entire first team are expected to attend, and they&#8217;ll likely wear their team suites, which they do look good in.</p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong>Six. </strong></span>And now it&#8217;s on to Xabi, who hardly ever puts a wrong foot forward in the fashion stakes!</p>
<p>He was spotted out with Nagore and Jontxu, taking a walk and picking up a few things in their neighborhood, Salamanca.  Pictures via Dona da Bola; rest of them can be found <a href="http://donadabola.wordpress.com/2010/10/28/jontxu-alonso-mini-consumidor-consciente/">here</a>!</p>
<p>Seriously, how is it possible that Xabi is so perfect?</p>
<p><a href="http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/xabi06.jpg"><img class="alignnone" src="https://i1.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/xabi06.jpg" alt="" width="282" height="406" /></a><a href="http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/xabi11.jpg"><img class="alignnone" src="https://i2.wp.com/i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx268/unamadridista/unamadridista2/xabi11.jpg" alt="" width="266" height="406" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong>Seven. </strong></span>In other good news, Salamanca player Miguel García was released from the hospital yesterday!</p>
