Now a days, with the use of newer technology, developers have managed to create incredibly realistic games. Recently, Epic Games (the developers of Fortnite) teamed up with a few other graphic design companies in attempt to make video game characters look more realistic than ever. They created a digital creation engine, in which game producers can instantly create digital face animations, as opposed to animating the characters by hand. This allows for drastic improvements to human eyes, skin texture, and will help bridge the gap between video games and reality.</p>

<p>In addition to this, developers have steadily been making improvements in other aspects of graphics, such as the foreground and background. With all of these advancements, creators will be able to make video games cinematically comparable to movies. Below are two games created in 2017 that are considered to have cutting edge graphics:</p>

<p>Lastly, I want to mention one of the most anticipated games of the year because of its graphics, The Works of Mercy. This game is scheduled to be released later this year, and the trailer has had people buzzing for a while. The in game graphics can be mistaken for reality, as most everything looks wildly realistic.
