<p>The content that was better than what I said in the deck was when Dr. Ringer asked me near the end to explain the students why trust was important in business.  Although I don&#8217;t know if I had ever had the thought before, I opened my mouth and said:</p>
<p>&#8220;I can tell you why trust is important simply.  When my wife trusts me, I can explain something in 5 words that I cannot explain in 5,000 words when she does not.&#8221;</p>
<p>It was perhaps the first time I realized that trust creates efficiency, like nothing else every will.</p>
