Welcome to the home page of the Weston Creek Little Athletics Centre (WCLAC) also known as the Redbacks. This website provides information for prospective young athletes and their families for the coming season, and archives of previous seasons. It also provides WCLAC families with information about key dates and competitions, coaching schedules, club records, award winners and other information. Our website is still under construction so if you can’t find the information you are looking for please use the contact us form.
Registrations for the 2017/2018 Redbacks athletics season opened in mid-August 2017. Our first day of competition is the 14th October 2017 at Chapman oval starting at 8.45am. Our club calendar can also be found on the events tab. We have some instructions on keeping in touch here.
It’s easiest to register online and you can collect your registration pack on the 16th September 2017 between 9am and 11am at Chapman oval or on the first day of competition on the 14th October 2017. Registration and payment online beforehand means your registration pack will be ready to collect on the day.

Little Athletics provides a weekly opportunity for children to come together to establish and nurture friendships, and to develop and refine their walking, running, throwing and jumping skills. Those skills will benefit them in varied activities, including sports, throughout their lives. Little athletics achieves this through participation, promoting enjoyment and encouraging personal development in a competitive environment. The motto of the little athletics movement remains Family, Fun and Fitness.
Weston Creek Little Athletics Centre is affiliated with ACT Little Athletics. Regular competitions are held at Chapman oval on Saturday mornings. Select the Event Calendar page for dates and times — you will also see special competitions and carnival days, and our weekly coaching clinics.
