Third grade students from Adam Ponsor’s class at Western Hills Elementary recently visited Woodlands Creek Senior Living, where they take a “Read to me” field trip. After the students were done reading their books with the seniors, they each used the iPad EveryDay Math games with the seniors. The seniors absolutely loved this and were thrilled to have an opportunity to experience a new technology.

Using the iPad as a part of the Read to Me program resulted in a much better connection between the students and the seniors. The director of the senior living center responded that this “was the best Read to Me they had ever had!”
