Skylar M’s project titled “How Sina Weibo Saved Lives” took 1st place in the category of Wireless Connectivity

Congratulations to the Valley High School  DigiTools class taught by Sarah Bird, as they recently presented online to a world-wide audience through the Flat Classroom Project.

As students presented their projects on-line, judges used the following rubrics to rate their multimedia works.   There were 11 major categories and within each category, the judges awarded 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, and Honorable Mention.

2nd Place to Peter N from_Valley High  for the project “Invisible Communication”  in the Virtual Communication category.

2nd Place to Kelly R from_Valley High  for the project  “Google Blast from the past” in the Google category

2nd Place: Gabbie R_from Valley High for the project “For The Greater Good” in the World Wide Web category. 

2nd place: Katelund S_from Valley High for the project “The waitress, the autistic girl, and the ‘broken’ burger” in the Connecting the World Online category.

Honorable Mention: Sandeep D from Valley High  for the project “The Future of Web 2.0 is Web 3.0 in the Web 2.0 category.

Honorable Mention: Bryce S from_Valley High for the project  “Workflow Video” in the Workflow software category.
