<h3><span style="font-size:large;">November 14, Charlotte Moore, co-founder of the of the acclaimed <b>Irish Repertory</b> <strong>Theatre</strong> interviewed Angela Lansbury for the League of Professional Theatre Women&#8217;s Oral History Project. </span></h3>
<p><span style="font-size:large;">Angela <span class="il">Lansbury&#8217;s career in entertainment is eighty plus years and going strong. In 1944, she launched her career</span></span><span style="color:var(--color-text);"> in </span><i style="color:var(--color-text);font-size:large;">Gaslight </i><span style="color:var(--color-text);font-size:large;">with Ingrid Bergman. Thirteen years later she </span><span style="font-size:large;"><span style="font-size:large;">made her Broadway debut with Bert Lahr in <i>Hotel Paradiso. </i></span></span><span style="font-size:large;"><span style="font-size:large;"> For over five decades, Ms. Lansbury was married to the late film executive Peter Shaw, whom she describes as &#8220;the most wonderful husband&#8221; and &#8220;the most handsome man.&#8221; She has been the recipient of  an Honorary Academy Award for her lifetime achievements in the industry, and  i</span></span><span style="color:var(--color-text);font-size:large;">n April 2014, Lansbury was </span><span style="color:var(--color-text);font-size:large;">named Dame of the British Empire  by Queen Elizabeth.</span></p>
