<p>Murbant was, until 1357 DR, one of <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/17/coaster-cities/" title="The Coaster Cities">the Coaster Cities</a>, located on the southern coast of <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/17/aglarond/" title="Aglarond">Aglarond</a>; the northern shore of <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/02/12/wizards-reach/" title="The Wizards’ Reach">the Wizards&#8217; Reach</a>.</p>
<p>Murbant was destroyed by Red Wizards and a small army of summoned <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/07/fire/" title="Fire">fire elementals</a>.  Refugees fled to <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/15/escalant/" title="Escalant">Escalant</a>, and have been prevented from rebuilding by various creatures of flame and ash who have remained in the ruins.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s believed that the dominant creature currently roaming the charred streets of Murbant is a 12-headed <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/03/03/pyrohydra/" title="Pyrohydra">pyrohydra</a>.</p>
<p>The year, in the Xaeyruudh campaign, is 1365 DR.</p>
