<h3>At a Glance</h3>
<p>An invisible staircase that leads upward from Faer&ucirc;n to Cynosure.  The stair is usable by any with &#8220;great will and Power&#8221; but apparently not without risk.</p>
<blockquote><p>A way out of Faer&ucirc;n for gods too cruel to care what destruction they cause in doing so.</p></blockquote>
<p>Known Celestial Stairs include</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/15/castle-kilgrave/" title="Castle Kilgrave">Castle Kilgrave</a>: during <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/30/time-of-troubles/" title="The Time of Troubles">the Time of Troubles</a>, this stair was the site of <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/02/13/mystra/" title="Mystra">Mystra</a>&#8216;s destruction by <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/02/13/helm/" title="Helm">Helm</a>.  The blastwave emanating from the death of a Power flattened the remains of the castle.</li>
<li><a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/03/24/shadowdale-village/" title="Shadowdale">Shadowdale</a>: during <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/30/time-of-troubles/" title="The Time of Troubles">the Time of Troubles</a> this Stair was destroyed when <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/02/13/mystra/" title="Mystra">Mystra</a> and <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/15/elminster/" title="Elminster">Elminster</a> destroyed an avatar of <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/02/13/bane/" title="Bane">Bane</a>.  Interestingly, the rest of dale was left unscathed by the destruction of the god.</li>
<li><a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/02/09/teyla-shan/" title="Teyla Shan">Teyla Shan</a>: an unconfirmed legend tells of The Road to the Gods which can be found at the summit of the highest peak of the Godswatch Mountains.  This staircase, if it exists, may still be intact.</li>
<li><a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/08/waterdeep/" title="Waterdeep">Waterdeep</a>: this Stair, located on Mount Waterdeep, was used to return <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/15/tablet-of-fate/" title="Tablet of Fate">the Tablets of Fate</a> to Ao.  It &#8220;vanished&#8221; when Ao caused the avatars to leave Faer&ucirc;n.</li>
