<h3>At a Glance</h3>
<p><b>Elaith Craulnobur</b> &mdash;nicknamed the Serpent&mdash; is a moon <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/05/04/elves/" title="Elves">elven</a> adventurer of <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/01/08/waterdeep/" title="Waterdeep">Waterdeep</a>. His name is spelled Craulnober in some sources. He&#8217;s also rumored to operate in Skullport and <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/04/12/luskan/" title="Luskan">Luskan</a> under the alias of Lord Buronae Trilluach.</p>
<p>He&#8217;s usually looking to sponsor (and occasionally lead) adventuring bands to explore various ruins and dungeons of the North. Cynics say he&#8217;s just looking for fodder to spring traps and die in battle, leaving him to collect the wealth. He is known to be the last surviving member of the <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/06/18/company-of-the-claw/" title="The Company of the Claw">Company of the Claw</a> and the <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/06/18/three-blades/" title="The Three Blades">Three Blades</a>, both successful companies who achieved some fame before (as the stories go) being betrayed by the Serpent.</p>
<p>He is an experienced <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/06/07/fighters/" title="Fighters">fighter</a> and <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/06/07/wizards/" title="Wizards">mage</a>. He also owns quite a bit of property in Waterdeep, and has significant wealth hidden away.</p>
<p>He is widely distrusted by humans in Waterdeep, but hated by elves of <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/03/23/evermeet/" title="Evermeet">Evermeet</a> and across the North.</p>
