His name translates as &#8220;the tall god who lets men sit upon his head.&#8221;</p>
<p>El Ma&#8217;ra takes the form of a sandstone spire in <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/04/16/sword-anauroch/" title="The Sword">the Sword</a>.  At the base of the spire is an oasis called <a href="https://xaeyruudh.wordpress.com/2012/12/05/el-mara/" title="El Ma’ra">El Ma&#8217;ra</a>.</p>
